Class of January 8, 2023

Happy New Year! We hope the new year brings everyone health, wealth and prosperity.

We focused on completing first 10 stanzas of Mahishasura Mardhini stotram today. Stanzas 8, 9 and 10 were new to the class and we spent time learning how to pronounce the words and also sing them. Please have the kids practice the song, this will be a great one to perform at outreach opportunities.

A challenge thrown to the class last time was to memorize first 2 stanzas of the stotram. 2 kids attempted to sing it today and the one who sang correctly got the candy, as promised :) The challenge is still open to the rest of the class, anyone who memorizes and sings will get the candy as a reward.
